Located 20 minutes south of Dubai, Dubaïland has literally emerged from the sand. Launched in the early 2000s as the world's largest leisure and theme park project, it had to be scaled back sharply following the financial crisis of the late 2000s. Today, however, it offers a number of playful and recreational universes just outside Dubai City that are well worth a visit, and which will delight young and old alike, with the immense Dragon Mart shopping mall and the Dubai outlet mall. We recommend you visit outside weekends!
