Breitenbach is a paradise for cross-country skiers, with numerous trails, including the official Schönauer trail, which is 15 km long. Nestled between gentle hills and towering peaks, the village enjoys plenty of sunshine and is ideal for walking. A hike to the 1,743-metre-high Plessinger mountain is highly recommended for a good view of the valley. On the lake side, the Berglsteinersee is also beautiful!
