The archaeological site of Tenam Puente is located 13 kilometers from Comitán, in the direction of the Trinitaria (the main road that leads to the Lagos de Montebello), and can be reached by a detour that leads to the ejido Francisco Sarabia; combis take you there from Comitán. The combis usually leave visitors 2 kilometers from the ruins. If you don't feel like walking, you can also arrange with the driver to drop you off at the foot of the ruins and pick you up after your visit. Alternatively, taking a taxi is an interesting and very affordable option, especially if there are several passengers.
