Bermudian Landing is a tiny village in the land of howler monkeys (called baboons in Belize), less than an hour's drive from Belize City. Its main attraction lies in its proximity to absolute nature, the jungle populated by monkeys calling out in the relative silence of the night. Sit at the foot of a tree and enjoy their songs, hoping to see them approach you. They're shy, so don't scare them and be patient! The Community Baboon Sanctuary Visitor Center is located at the entrance to the Nature Resort, the only resort within a 10 km radius. They'll be happy to give you more information about baboon life.
