Extended on the river Wieprz, this small town of the 100 000 th century is known for its thermal waters, for its beneficial microclimate and for the sanctuary of Notre-Dame de Krasnobrod (Sanktuarium Matki Boskiej Krasnobrodzkiej), which attracts about pilgrims per year. A small chapel of the th century (Kaplica na wodzie) has a miraculous water source. This is where the Virgin would appear to a poor peasant. As in the Parc Park, in Krasnobród, you can go hiking or walking, kayaking on the Wieprz River or swimming. Next to Krasnobród are artificial lakes formed by the Wieprz with beaches and other attractions.
