Clinging to the side of the Serra del Mont, some 330 m above sea level, Beuda is well worth a stopover, if only for the panoramic views it affords. From here, you can see almost all of La Garrotxa, the Empordà plain and the entire Pyrenees-Orientales. But Beuda also has a few little gems of Romanesque architecture that lovers of old stones will enjoy discovering, such as the unmissable Romanesque ensemble of Palera (including the church of Santa Maria and the Holy Sepulchre), the Romanesque churches of Sant Pere de Lligordà and Sant Feliu, and the stately home of Noguer de Segueró.
