Preza/Prezë has a population of around 3,000 and belongs to the municipality of Vora and the district of Tirana. The village lies 9 km east of Tirana airport (2 km as the crow flies), 22 km northwest of Tirana and 27 km northeast of Durrës via Vora. Minibus connections to Tirana and Durrës. This village, spread out along a winding (but decent) road, is worth a stop for its hilltop fortress at 260 m altitude. It offers splendid views over the Tirana plain (to the east) and the village of Palaq and the verdant Sharka valley (to the west).
