A small village in the Marmilla region, Baressa is surrounded by charming hills that turn into a giant bouquet when the almond trees are in bloom. The fruit is celebrated during the sagra della mandorla in September. Many visitors come to taste the very local specialities ofamaretti, gueffus or cakes. They also discover the baskets made of olive branches, the olive oil or the wine which also make the reputation of Baressa. Along the alleys of the historical centre you can admire the ancient portals, typical of the region, the rural houses and the large murals, among the most beautiful in Sardinia.
