Sainte-Anne-de-Sabrevois, commonly known as Sabrevois, is part of the MRC du Haut-Richelieu. Little appreciated by settlers at the beginning of his story, she will welcome many New Hampshire Loyalist families when the American War of Independence began. During the Second World War, it will be the immigrants coming from France, Belgium, Switzerland and Holland to settle there. Today, it has approximately 2 000 inhabitants and is recognized for its haunted house LHOTEL 54, the largest of its kind in Quebec, and its resort Domaine Domaine Pourki.
