Marceddì is the access point to the dunes of Piscinas from Oristano. It is a small and quiet fishing village that you pass through to get to the dunes, coming from the north. Marceddì is also known for its two lagoons, the ponds of Marceddì and San Giovanni. Once open to the sea, they are now cut off from the sea by a dam. It is a very good place for birdwatching or simply to relax. Animated during the summer season, it is much less so from October and this is also its charm. Marceddi seduced us with its little air of Brittany in the Mediterranean.
