Passanaouri, in the heart of the valley, is known as the capital of khinkali: it is here that you will find the best... We visit several chapels and defensive towers. The village marks the meeting point of two torrents, the black Aragvi and the white Aragvi. The road now follows the white Aragvi. Further on, continuing along the road, one reaches an exceptional panoramic viewpoint. The building was built in 1983 to mark the two hundredth anniversary of the Russian-Georgian treaty. From here you can admire the absolutely grandiose, wild landscape, spared from any construction. The site serves as a starting point for paragliding enthusiasts, and rightly so.
