Colakreek is crossed by a river with black waters and owes its name to this dark brown color that resembles Cola. The color is created by falling leaves, and this process constantly keeps the acidity of the water at a low (acidic) level, making it safe for swimming. In 1995, the area was renovated and developed into an amusement park, frequented mainly by locals at weekends. As well as the river for swimming, there are picnic areas, a small snack bar and a few bungalows for overnight accommodation. The place is open 24/7.
