Oriñón, about 15 km west of Castro-Urdales, is famous for its long beach made up of small dunes that move with the wind. It is overlooked by the Peña Candina, the highest peak of the karstic massif in the region (489 m), which offers beautiful nature walks between rocks, cliffs and depressions. The most athletic will reach the summit and admire through the Ojos del Diablo, two large rocky arches, magnificent panoramic views of La Ballena, an impressive rock jutting out to sea at Cape Cebollero.
