From Pazos de Arenteiro, a small town representative of Galician popular architecture (15 km north of Ribadavia), a marked trail takes you from the church of San Salvador to the river Areintero, where the medieval bridge is located. Before undertaking this hike, it is recommended to go around the village to admire its many pazos. Built at the time of its glory, from the sixteenth to the seventeenth century, most of them are made of granite ashlar and have towers, verandas(solanas), dovecotes or hórreos. Clinging to the walls, the vine is a reminder that we are in the Ribeiro production area.
