Arzúa (2,500 inhabitants) is famous for its cow's milk cheese. Sold fresh or matured, the cheese of Arzúa has a controlled designation of origin. Every year, at the beginning of March, Arzúa celebrates its Festa do Queixo, which brings together many local producers. There are many shops and restaurants where you can buy this delicacy, but it is not necessary to list them all. Beyond its cheese, Arzúa is also a charming little town where it is good to walk around. The streets have preserved many traditional houses, and the river and the parks give the town a pleasant airy aspect.
