A small town where one comes to visit the convent and enjoy the park that surrounds it. Founded in 1153, the monastery in this area has a long cultural and spiritual history. You can see parchments, illuminations and other bookish jewels, but above all the magnificent fresco signed by Paul Troger on the ceiling of the marble room. You can also take advantage of the particularly beautiful park surrounding the monastery (140 hectares!) which is open from Palm Sunday to All Saints' Day, from Wednesday to Sunday. You will discover the abbey church which has kept its Romanesque architecture and the bishop's apartment where precious objects are displayed.
