Lake Manzala is one of the largest lakes in Egypt, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea to the north, bordered to the east by Port Said and to the west by Damietta, where St. Louis was taken prisoner. The aim of the crossing is to join Port Said to the small fishing port of el-Matareyya. To do this, one goes from Port Said to the shores of Lake Manzala, to the Lynch station and then embarks on a motorboat. Take pictures, enjoy the time spent on the lake. The port of el-Mattareya will also offer you views to be immortalized, as well as fishermen's cafes. You can return to Port Said by the same way, by road, or continue on to Damietta.
