In the KwaZulu-Natal region, the Royal Natal National Park covers more than 80 km2 and is an integral part of the Drakensberg Park, known for its mountainous massif. It is here, on the slopes of Mount aux Sources, that the springs of the Orange and Tugela rivers are born, with the latter's eponymous waterfalls rushing over a little less than 1 km, 948 m to be exact. The Amphitheatre is also a star of the nature reserve. Located in the northern part of the Drakensberg, the 5 km long rock formation is impressive. Experienced hikers will love it!
