One of Lesotho's two national parks at the foot of the Holomo Pass, accessible by tarred road, and an integral part of the Maloti/Drakensberg Transfrontier Park. Located between 1 950 and 3 100 m above sea level, it has a sub-alpine climate and covers 5 000 ha. In its centre, a preserved forest with endemic trees called "Chi-chi", an ancestral bamboo grove which has a capital importance in the Sotho culture and which shelters very rare butterflies, but also a vegetation of "fynbos" of the mountains unique in the world. Here live felines adapted to the altitude: wild cats, jackals, caracals... Hiking tours are organized here.
