Roma is a village about 30 km from Maseru, where the first cheap and pleasant accommodation for backpackers is located. It is here that the roads fork towards Semokong, a road on which the 4x4 is strongly advised, but not obligatory, and towards Mohale Dam, the lake. Then, for the more adventurous in good 4WD, they can go to Thaba Tseka. On the other hand, if you do not have time to go higher, stop here, the site is already very pleasant. It is here that students often meet, and for good reason: the town of Roma hosts the national university of Lesotho.
