To get there, you have to take the N-420 south from Puerto Llano. This valley owes its name to the fact that the Alcudia River runs through it for 75 km. Located in the south of the province of Ciudad Real, it is an area of great ecological value that has been home to a natural park since 2011, a refuge for some threatened species (black stork or Iberian lynx). The lands that border the Sierra Morena to the south constitute one of the most virgin territories in Spain. At the end of autumn, the flocks of sheep begin to arrive and stay all winter. The milk produced by the sheep is used to make the famous Tierra cheese.
