Founded in 1731, one of the oldest wine houses in Beaune! In 1820, Bernard Bouchard purchased the site of the former Château de Beaune, a royal fortress built in the 15th century by King Louis XI. The Cave du Château is a contemporary space dedicated to wines, with a playful itinerary. From Tuesday to Saturday at 2:30 p.m., the "rendez-vous Maestro" opens the cellars to you for ageing and expert tasting of 6 great Burgundy wines. An estate of 130 ha for 9 generations with magical climates: Montrachet, Corton-Charlemagne, Beaune Grèves Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus.

Beautiful castle and cellars. There was a slight mix up where we were able to schedule our tasting on a Holiday, and when Clement learned that we were unable to come on another day, he still received us and gave a fantastic tour. A must see if you visit Beaune!

We had the top tour - €398 for 2 adults. Was pretty focussed on the history and not so much on the winemaking or the wine. Tasting amounts were very small. We had better and much cheaper tours of chateaus in and around Bearne

Extremely well received by Clement for our tasting at Bouchard Père et Fils. He is extremely knowledgeable and it was a real pleasure to taste The Winery's range with him along to explain. Clean glasses, generous servings and a good variety of Burgundy wines to try. Great wine, good tasting experience and in a very well setup wine shop. Highly recommend!
