In the heart of Beaune, on Place Carnot, Maison Denis Perret, founded over 40 years ago, offers wines carefully selected from the most prestigious négociants and owners in Beaune: Louis Latour, Bouchard, Chanson, Joseph Drouhin, Louis Jadot. Denis Perret also presents his own products, including an excellent crémant, and raspberry and blackcurrant crèmes. The range extends to spirits, regional specialities and oenological accessories. Wonderful wine selection and the most helpful team! My husband and I both work in the wine industry, focusing on California Wines. So we were excited and a bit overwhelmed with the in depth selection offered at the shop. The gentleman that helped us (might have been the owner/manager?) was so kind and spent about an hour with us walking through the different appellations. We ended up buying a few bottles, and plan to go back the next time we are in the area.

He also gave us a couple corkscrews that became very helpful when we inevitably couldn't wait to open a bottle later that night!
