Acharacle is a village located on the western shore of Loch Shiel, in the eastern part of the Ardnamurchan peninsula, not far from the ruins of Tioram Castle. The Ardnamurchan peninsula is particularly isolated and wild. Its only access is a winding road, of only one way, with places of passage. Moors, forests, lochs, beaches, are to explore. Sanna Bay is undoubtedly among the most beautiful beaches in Scotland! Go to Ardnamurchan Point and discover its lighthouse, learn about the history of the peninsula at the Natural History Visitor Centre or taste a whisky in the "greenest" distillery of the country. An iconic place.
