The wonderful Ross of Mull is a 28 km long peninsula in the south of the island. It has some of the most beautiful, but also the most quiet and forgotten, island landscapes. And for good reason, its isolation is real and requires a detour to appreciate its beauty. The cliffs in the south are particularly breathtaking and can be seen from the bay of Carsaig. For beautiful beaches of pink granite and white sand, go to Ardalanish Bay or to the whole western coastline, around the charming town of Fionnphort. It is a small, picturesque and touristy port, thanks to its accommodation and its proximity to the island of Iona.
