Want to discover a deserted island and play Robinson? Tintamare is a small, uninhabited piece of land of almost 100 hectares, surrounded by translucent turquoise waters. A true paradise! The inland area is privately owned, and there are lovely walks to discover the remains of a sheepfold, a railroad line and an airfield. The coastal strip, managed by the Nature Reserve, has two beaches: one perfect for swimming (Baie Blanche), where you can observe sea turtles and stingrays, and the other, wilder, used as a nursery for certain fish, including nurse and lemon sharks. Bring plenty to eat and drink, and a garbage can.
