Thanks to the presence of three villas belonging to the Pojana family, this small town occupies a prominent place in the history of architecture in the Veneto. To discover them, from the parish church in the center of town, turn left and you will come across, in order: the 15th century Villa Pojana-Colla, renovated in the 19th century, the Villa Pojana-Castello, so called because of a tower and ramparts included in the building, and the most beautiful, the Villa Pojana Maggiore, Palladio's masterpiece, which the architect mentioned in his treatise on architecture.
