Contern is a small commune located 12 km south-east of Luxembourg City. It is known throughout the Grand Duchy for its comic strip festival which takes place there every year in July. The excitement is intense during the two days of the event: about a hundred stands offer new and second-hand comic strips, original drawings, posters, figurines and all sorts of comics-related objects. Concerts are also organised to ensure the musical atmosphere, while food trucks provide small catering. An event that delights young and old alike, not to be missed!
