Travel Guide Koerich

Koerich is located at the southern end of the Valley of the Seven Castles, about 18 km from the capital of Luxembourg. This town is very old, as evidenced by the important Roman villa discovered near Goeblange. The village church, situated on the hill, is considered by some to be "the most beautiful in the whole country". It hides a very rich baroque furniture with a remarkable high altar. As for the feudal castle of Koerich, its ruins have been classified as a national monument since 1938. The fortress has been under construction for many years and since 2019 it has had new facilities for public and cultural events.
