With its 160 km², Lake Onangué is one of the largest and most southern lakes in the region. It takes a little over an hour to get there from Lambaréné. The pirogue ride offers a peaceful moment full of surprises, in the heart of these large green spaces where a diversified wildlife lives. By chance, we will see some hippos on the surface of the water. Moreover, it is worthwhile to plan a loop including the Ngomo mission and a stop on the Evaro lake, which will make a full day! It is also possible to fish and visit traditional villages and forestry.
