To go to Samory Island, ask for a piroguier at the pier. It is also possible to visit the former Catholic church of Saint-Michel, built at the end of the 19th century and transferred to the other bank. To visit the missions and sites of Ndjolé, you should ask a piroguier to take you there and spend a day with sandwiches. The missions are in ruins, and the short visits to the sites are mainly an opportunity to spend a pleasant day or half a day on a mythical part of the River Ogooué and its banks lined with white sand. The rates vary from one piroguier to another, you will have to negotiate.
