Located at the border of the Wonga Wongé reserve, south of Etouk, Lake Azingo is quite remote and deserves at least half a day, a full day at best. You may be lucky enough to see hippos, still present in the area. The surrounding villages are inhabited by the Adyumba, an indigenous people who live from fishing, agriculture and trade. It is possible to accompany these villagers and see them fishing with a seine, a very old fishing technique. This people are also known for their tasty cuisine, based on fresh food, whose specialty is the spicy crab sauce.
