10 km after leaving Bifoun and taking the "economic" road, we cross a tributary of the Ogooué which passes through the village of Ebel. This small village can be the starting point for dugout canoe trips to discover this region rich in Gabonese history. In the village, you can hire a pirogue driver for a tour including the visit of the missions of Samkita and Talagouga as well as the trip up to Ndjolé to see the Samory Island and the few interesting sites of the city. In Ebel, you will find a bar where they also serve food. Once a real ordeal for motorists, the Ebel Abanga-Bifoun axis has been renovated.
