If you take the N1 again, after the Sindara junction, you will arrive in Fougamou, a small town of about 5,000 inhabitants, located about 100 km from Mouila. The main track does not cross the town. To reach the centre of the town, you have to take the track on the left along the Ngounié river. But, as always, the city presents a succession of districts spread over several kilometers, here on the banks of the Ngounié. Fougamou is a CKdo, maquis, a restaurant, two high schools ... and modern administrative buildings. It is possible to practice fishing and hiking in the region.
