On the western coast of the mainland (road B 9056), this Neolithic village faces the small bay of Skaill. Perfectly preserved, the ten unique Pièce Brae houses date back 3 000 years before our age. On the pebble beach you can observe birds characteristic of the low and rocky coasts, such as the eider and the great gravelot.
