A charming little hamlet of around 100 souls in the Val Blenio, at an altitude of 656 meters. The peaceful valley is rich in streams and chestnut forests on the way to the Lukmanier pass. The Brenno River, which meanders close to the village, promises beautiful walks and, for stream-fishing enthusiasts, wild catches. The village's traditional buildings are of mountain architecture, with stone foundations and timber framing, and contrast with the middle-class villas built in the 19th and 20th centuries. An interesting place to stop is the old bailiff's house, home to the Blenio museum.
