Just a few kilometers from Davos, Klosters is the first major resort on the road from Chur. A family resort, with a slightly British atmosphere, and with good reason: it regularly welcomed King Charles III. Will he continue to visit the Swiss resort in his new role? Only time will tell. The resort has grown considerably in recent years, with many new chalets being built in the immediate vicinity. The result is a second, much more modern part of the resort (towards Davos). The Klosters ski area joins the Davos ski area. The two resorts are separated by road, some ten kilometers apart. This is one of the most interesting ski areas in Switzerland - a benchmark!
