Known for the mining site of Valé Goro which stretches from Prony Bay to the outskirts of this tiny town, Goro is nevertheless a beautiful place; one comes here to swim and/or to visit the Wadiana waterfall and the old Japanese mine. The Wadiana waterfall is also called Goro waterfall, this waterfall is visible from the road but quite discreet. It will thus be necessary to open the eye not to miss it. It is located at the tribe of Goro and a natural water hole is nice for a little swim in summer. It can be reached from Prony by land or from Yaté via the coast. Bring a road map.
