Stoob, 3 km west of Oberpullendorf and 15 km from the Hungarian border, is known as a pottery village. There is a renowned ceramics school with training courses open to all and a museum (Töpfermuseum) dedicated to pottery and its development in the region over the centuries. The town is well worth a visit. You will discover the history of an ancestral epic around pottery in connection with the local soil. The history is valued but also the traditional pottery itself with all the stages of manufacture of the extraction of the ground to the cooking with wood fire while passing by the turning.
