North of Bad Radkersburg, along the Slovenian border, you will find this lovely little town, which has been called the pearl of the south-east by the people of Styria. In the sunshine, its colourful facades, including the pink parish church, seem to illuminate the valley and add to its charm. The castle ruins and the wine museum invite you to stop off in Klöch. It is indeed an important stop on the Styrian wine route. You will be well advised to stay a little longer, as the town has some very pleasant accommodation options and gourmet restaurants that are sure to please.
