Bruck en der Mur is an important steel town with 13,500 inhabitants. At the confluence of the Mur and the Mürz, at the crossroads of important communication routes, it benefits from a strategic situation and can be the object of an interesting stopover. You can visit the old town centre with its town hall with arcades and a number of historic houses, including the Kornmesserhaus (15th century), as well as an original well decorated in the style of a bell tower. On the edge of the town there is a wildlife park and amusement park (Öko park Hochereiter) and a beautiful youth hostel (Jufa natur-hotel Bruck).
