The Bad Hall salt springs have been used for a long time. They are mentioned in the documents of the Kremsmünster Abbey as early as 777. It was not until the beginning of the 19th century that the facilities were marketed and that high society came to treat themselves. Today, this peaceful and dapper spa town develops a hedonistic thermal tourism for a rather well-to-do and not very young clientele. All in all, Bad Hall is a modern, cheerful and lively little town, with a very efficient thermal centre whose superb installations seduce. The tourist office is installed in the gigantic spa centre.
