20 minutes from Mestre, via the national road (Romea) Castellana 245, you arrive in Scorzè, known for its source water exported throughout Europe. The communal territory is dotted with beautiful villas, including Villa Mocenigo Soranzo della Staffa, carried out by architect Andrea Zorzi in the th century. This wonderful villa was built for the Soranzo, one of the families who, according to legend, founded Venice. The villa is situated in the middle of a beautiful garden, with the architect Giuseppe Jappelli, born in Venice in 1773, who created the villa in 1835, while respecting the original work of Andrea Zorzi. In the central lounge you can admire the frescoes of the ceiling which represent allegorical figures.
