A charming English city on the outskirts of the Avon, a visit of its traditional market in the old part of the centre will take you to the th century. With a rich history, Evesham was the scene of a famous battle of the Barons'Second War in 1265, the victory of the future King Edward I. From the abbey built in 709, which marked the birth of the city, there is only a steeple dating back to the th century. Considered one of the greniers of England, the region is well known for its fruits and vegetables: asparagus, plum and apple in particular. Drive there, one hour south of Birmingham and 25 minutes from Stratford.
