Bibury was described by the English writer and poet William Morris as one of the most beautiful villages in England. It's certainly one of the prettiest in the Cotswolds. The main attraction is the stone thatched cottages of the old weavers on Arlington Row, then follow the footpath around the village, passing small stone bridges and Trout Farm. The church of St Mary the Virgin is also worth a visit, with its tombstones in the grass and its medieval allure. This is also where the famous Bibury's Duck Race takes place in December, when 3,000 plastic ducks race against each other!
