The only beautiful (without shadow) beach of the corner is worth a detour even though bathing is not recommended for children: The backwash is sometimes really strong… what attracts surfers from all over the world. But in the week, it's still quiet. Good sport atmosphere the day, good beer in the evening. The beach bar is delicious: Taste its fabulous arepas and enjoy the cool atmosphere (guests walking in the kitchen). To rinse, 2 minutes from the restaurant, you can find a fresh stream of water under the mango trees. When loaded with fruit (around May), the trees also shelter monkeys. The real paradise… except when these charming creatures put you in the middle of throwing you old mango skins! Beware, no public toilets on this beach.
