Located 200 kilometres southeast of Coro. Upon arrival of the Spanish the region was populated by the Chipas Indians of the Caribe ethnic. These mostly peuplèrent Cerro Chichiriviche and the sad Gulf Islands. We go here to see the islets of Morrocoy Park. And what a contrast! On the road from Morón, there is an avalanche of buildings out of land, in the way Miami. The site is invaded by the world during the holy Week between 20 July and 30 September and around January. The entire village is frozen around the main avenue Libertador, which until 1950 was the culmination of the first Venezuelan railway route: Bolívar-Aroa-Tucacas. The train then brought copper and gold to mines under British concessions. There are still some old metal skeletons, envahis, on the coast. For the readers of La Vie du Rail, the train is at the Transport Museum in Caracas.Attention: armed assaults have been mentioned in this wretched city, particularly south of the Puerto Cabello-Coro road. So open the eye…
