Located at the foot of the Sierra Grossa, this city of nearly 36,000 inhabitants clings to the hill. In the heart of its historic center crowned by the medieval district of La Vila, the bell tower of the Gothic church of Santa María is the highest in the Valencian Community, and the second highest in Spain at 72 meters. Its interior houses a statue of Mariano Benlliure. Ontinyent now lives from its textile industry. Information.
