To dine in this small, quiet trattoria on the island of Giudecca, you need to get off du at the Palanca stop. Make 20 m on your left and you are there. It serves typical dishes and Venetian specialities. The piatti piatti (pasta, gnocchis, risotti, fagottini, e quanti!) with fish are fabulous. Meat is also very well prepared. Beautiful view on the Canal della Giudecca.

What a guy Nono is! He will always amaze us with his generous pizzas and tasty fish dishes such as this famous bacala (cod) nicely spiced with garlic sauce. The atmosphere here is definitely local: hot and noisy. However, for romantic meals, we can guarantee you a quiet corner. In the summer, in the garden, you can sit almost like at home, enjoying your meal in the sun. A very nice address in short, where chess players like to meet on Tuesday afternoon between the two services.

A few steps away from the Rialto, this trattoria trattoria, with its terrace of 7 or 8 tables deliciously shaded by a green roof, is a boon. There is a large room inside. The map offers a good choice of meat and fish or, more simply, the usual range of pizzas, one of which is seafood.

Off the tourist trail, this traditional osteria offers typical, high-quality Venetian cuisine, using fresh local produce. The menu changes with the seasons, but Venetian specialties always take pride of place. Homemade desserts are also excellent. The wine list, most of which is regional, is well-stocked. For a change from Venetian culinary delights, take a flight to Latin America. Guacamole, ceviche, tacos, enchiladas... Bacàn puts the great classics of South American cuisine on the menu. The menu is relatively small, but there's no such thing as too much when the quality is top-notch. The dining room is neat, sober and contemporary, and the atmosphere charming. And there are very few restaurants in Venice where you can sit down after 10.30pm. A good address, in short, that we recommend. On the downside, reservations are recommended.
