Celebrated Pellice is the last municipality in the valley. In the streets of the village or in the surrounding hamlets, balconies, staircases, loggias are mainly chestnut woods, very present in neighbouring forests. The centre and the hamlets are the starting point for large crossings of the surrounding valleys. Among the Alpine steps, the Jervis hut, built 1 732 m in the splendid Pra toilet, awaits the hiker.There are many shelters in the valley: the Barbara Lowrie refuge at the foot of the Barant Pass in the wild vallon of the torrent Carbonieri; and the Brigata Alpini Monte Granero, located at 2 377 m above sea level, near Lungo lake, at the foot of the Granero.
